Located on Lorna Road in Hoover Alabama lies Aldridge Botanical Gardens. Alridge Gardens began in 1977 and was opened to the public in the mid 1990’s. We recently took our kids there to have thier pictures taken and were wowed by how beautiful this 30+ acre garden site is with it’s trail, lake, and lush plantings. I often think that Alridge Gardens is a too well kept secret, even to those who live in Hoover Alabama. I would urge anyone who appreciate natures’ beauty to stop by for a visit.
