Big Tall Fireplace

I was out showing some houses the other day and came across this fireplace. It’s tall! I am sure it’s not near as big as the tallest chimney in the world, but it was still tall to me. If you were going to have one of these made or serviced in this area, you would probably need one of these chimney and fireplace guys.

Birmingham Alabama – Out of Gas

It started about 2 weeks ago now. I have been calling it Gas Panic 2008. I haven’t trade marked that yet, so feel free to use it. Hurricane Ike went to Houston and we all said, “Houston, we have a problem.“ Gas prices here in Birmingham jumped from below $3.50 a gallon to over $4.00 a gallon in just hours. It was crazy, and the picture above became common place.
