Dothan AL – Tribute to Sherman Rose

No, I am still have not made it home to Birmingham Alabama, but I am on the way back, so I thought I would share another picture I took while I was down here. As I drove around Dothan, Alabama I saw a number of murals on the walls of building paying homage to various aspects of Dothan Alabama’s history. This one was one I saw each day on my way to class. It was a tribute to Sherman Rose, one of the Tuskegee Airmen who helped so honorably during World War II serving to fight for a country that had yet given him all of the freedoms he deserved. For the past couple of days I have not been home in Birmingham Alabama, I have been in Dothan Alabama.
